In another big win for STAR Dynamics’ leadership, Will Carter has accepted the high-visibility role of Customer Support Manager! Since most of our employees have some form of direct contact with our customer base, it is vital that our customer communications practices are unified under a strong consistent, approach from leadership.
Mr. Carter will manage aftermarket support plans for all product lines, including performing the duties of Program Manager for all aftermarket programs, manage STAR Dynamics’ support team and assigned engineers to quickly and efficiently resolve customer issues, and work directly with Engineering and Program Management to develop specifications and designs during proposal stages based on firsthand knowledge of our customer needs.
Additionally, Mr. Carter will work as the primary contact, externally and internally, for all aftermarket support requirements and needs. These include managing and executing product repairs, both in the factory and in the field, working with other STAR managers and staff to provide SME support when needed. He will also fill a secondary role in business development to identify potential sales leads and assist in the efforts to transition leads to orders.
This new title is also recognition of Will’s technical competence and numerous contributions to many of our programs during his relatively short tenure at STAR. As with all leadership positions at STAR Dynamics, Will’s advancement to the role of Customer Support Manager will further facilitate STAR’s growth in our current market and allow us to make inroads into to exciting new opportunities for technological advancement.
